Rajneeti is an upcoming political thriller of India 2010 to be directed by Prakash Jha. It stars Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai in the main roles. The filming began in early 2009. The film is scheduled for release on June 4, 2010.
According to the cooperation of the film-writer Anjum Rajabali, this film is greatly influenced by the epic story of the religious history of India’s “Mahabharat”, and is in the midst of contemporary electoral politics. So the movie characters will have similar dilemmas and lessons learned from the story of Mahabharat.
