Why Aamir Khan Filed FIR Against an Unknown?

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan alleged that smear campaign had been launched against him on some social networking sites to disgrace him and his television show.


On this the actor approached the Mumbai police take actions against that person. An FIR was registered against unidentified persons on March 11 for allegedly publishing false and offensive news information about the actor and his television reality show Satyamev Jayate 2 on some social networks.

Confirming the reporters, a crime brand official spoke; “An FIR was registered the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code against unidentified persons at the Bandra-Kurla Complex cyber police station in suburban Bandra East. The complainant in the case is Shrinivas Rama Rao, executive producer of Aamir Khan Productions Pvt Ltd.”

A request has been sent to the authorities concerned. Certain websites have deleted the offensive material. Today, Aamir Khan provided some more information,” the officer added.

Aamir Khan met Join Police Commissioner at Mumbai Police Headquarters and given a brief about the false masseges allegedly being circulated in social networking sites to harm his reputation along with his TV show.

The actor took to his Facebook page and posted; “False and malicious messages are circulating through various electronic media including Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter as well as other social media networks, alleging donations are being sought by my television program Satyamev Jayate Season 2, in relation to an entity which claims to be working in the field of Masjid Construction Assistance and placement assistance for Muslim youngsters.”

The 48-year-old also said that his show was associated with the humanity trust at Hanspukur in West Bengal, which is a charitable hospital run by Ajob Mistry and his mother Subhashini Mistry.

All donations sought in Satyamev Jayate are used and channelized for entirely deserving and secular causes, contrary to the content of the highly mischievous and malicious insinuations in the messages, being circulated by vested and unscrupulous interests,” Aamir Khan added in his statement.
