Pakistan’s former skipper and fast bowler Wasim Akram will train young quick bowlers. Wasim Akram said he was keen to transfer some of his knowledge and experience to the young cricketers.
PCB is intending to organize a camp for the rising cricketers at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, later this month and the Director of International Cricket, Intikhab Alam disclosed that the PCB will ask for the great cricketer to groom the young fast bowlers. The 46-year-old is undoubtedly the best left-arm fast bowler in the history of the cricket and is also included in the ICC Hall of Fame. With around 900 wickets at the ultimate level of the sport, Wasim has been a role model for young fast bowlers all over the world and his style is unquestionable.
Wasim Akram is the bowling coach of KKR and his franchise went on to win the 5th season of the IPL. The ex- Pakistan skipper’s influence was very visible in KKR’s performance this season as their bowlers led the way for the team throughout the event.
