Tendulkar should take counselling: Rashid Latif

Ex- Pakistan skipper Rashid Latif on Monday advised Sachin Tendulkar should take counselling from a sports psycho therapist to get over the psychological block. He is pressurized without a doubt. He might not accept it but he’s dealing with a psychological block for this reason hype over his landmark. It wouldn’t be a bad approach for him to get some counselling from a sports psycho therapist,” Latif suggested. “He is batting well and he looks good out there in the middle.

It’s just a psychological block and stress that has avoided him from achieving this landmark earlier,” he told PTI. India lost the initial 2 Tests after batting collapses along with Sachin scoring a half century in each match but unable to get to his tough 100th century. Rashid Latif says he’d a thinking that Sachin would get the century in the last Test and absolutely in the series. He says the world’s best athletes at some occasion in their career needed counselling to get over psychological blocks.

Rashid Latif also thought that experts and ex- cricketers calling for the heads of their senior players need to admit that India didn’t have the bowling firepower to bowl out Australia twice.
