Shoaib Akhtar wants Tom Moody as Pakistan head coach

Ex- Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar, hit out at the team’s recent performance in the ICC Champions Trophy, adding that Ex- Australian cricketer Tom Moody could be the solution to their woeful batting. Pakistan is out of the eight-nation event after being edged by West Indies in their 1st game while South Africa recorded a comprehensive 67-run success over the widely touted pre-tournament favorites.

“Pakistan should go to Tom Moody, he is the only man who can bring the match-winning attitude into the team. He is fantastic, rugged, a brilliant friend, brilliant manager, brilliant motivator and accommodating and he knows how to handle guys. They don’t need someone to show them how to play the game, they need someone to preach in the dressing room,” Shoaib Akhtar said in an interview.

Shoaib Akhtar also took a swipe at the cricketers, calling them mentally upset.
