Sehwag involved in heated argument with Aussie bowlers

After the heat developed by the 2 questionable judgements on the initial day, the first Test just got spicier as Indian batsman Virender Sehwag was on Tuesday involved in an argument with Aussie fast bowlers James Pattinson and Peter Siddle during the visitors` initial innings.

The episode took place in the 4th ball of 7th over — and fourth after lunch time — bowled by Pattinson.Virender, who was on 16, played the ball down to fine leg and ran for a single. James Pattinson stood at the center on his follow through with his elbow stretched which Virender Sehwag evaded. After finish of the run, an upset Sehwag had a couple of nasty words for the fast bowler and he was also seen going his bat towards Pattinson. James Pattinson replied back with similar aggression. Peter Siddle, who was positioned at mid-off, came to join the debate.

Eventually, it was umpire Marais Erasmus who talked to Sehwag to relax before the proceedings carried on. Yesterday, the dismissals of Aussie opener Ed Cowan and Michael Hussey had kicked up a dispute with the former thinking about the ICC`s malfunction to apply the Decision Review System for all Test series. The Aussie press blasted the Indian Cricket Board for not accepting to utilize the Decision Review System in the series.
