Seems SRK’s Success Makes Salman Conscious

There were reports about Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan’s hug at and Iftar party after while the people were thinking that both the actors might get back to their relation. But it isn’t that. Salman might have hugged Shahrukh , but it seems that the arch-rivals are not ready to give away the cold war.

Shahrukh might have claimed that he doesn’t keep a track of other stars, but the he blocked Eid for his flick Chennai Express as Sallu’s ‘Mental’ couldn’t be released this Eid.

Salman Khan’s Wanted directed by Prabhudheva which released on Eid became the biggest hit of 2009 on box office. In 2010, his blockbuster Dabangg hit the theatres during Eid, while his flick ‘Bodyguard’ too served a good Eid treat for his fans in 2011. In 2012, it was Ek Tha Tiger directed by Kabir Khan which showed an amazing chemistry between Katrina Kaif & Salman Khan and created history during Eid. It’s after three years that Shahrukh Khan got a chance to release his movie during Eid and the film became the fastest entry to 100 crore club.

Chennai Express has crossed 181 crore at the box office and also became the highest week 1 (7 day week) surpassing EK Th Tiger‘s 140 crore from 9 days.

Looks like the success of Chennai Express has made the Dabangg Khan take some conscious steps and the actor, who is known for his spontaneous career decisions, is planning 2014 very consciously.

People from different fields and celebs from glam world gathered at Shahrukh’s residence ‘Mannat’ for Iftar party after the release of Chennai Express. However, one of the most expected stars, Salman Khan was absent prominently.

Now reports say Salman Khan has blocked all major dates in 2014 to release his flicks. His one of the most awaited films ‘Kick’ is scheduled to hit the theatres during Eid.

His next Prabhudheva’s directorial might grab a Christmas or Diwali opening and Sohail Khan’s directorial ‘Mental’ on Republic Day.
