Sharma only scored 79 runs in 5 ODIs. On the other hand, Raina has only scored 182 runs out of 8 games.Raina’s problem with the bat in England trip and Down Under will fail to receive selectors trust in him.Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa’s remarkable performance in the regional cricket may receive them a ticket for Dhaka.

However, selectors will be under huge pressure to drop aging players like Sehwag and Tendulkar. Sachin had a past for taking rest before a ODI series but this occasion he didn’t make any such demand to selectors.
