Ponting has apologized for his rowdy action

Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting has apologized for his rowdy actions when he was announced run out in the game versus Zimbabwe. The unpleasant incident occurred on Monday 21 February during the fourth game of the ICC WC 2011.

In the 33rd over of the 1st innings, Ponting was given run out. He had went for a 2nd run, but a throw from Mpofu hit the stumps before he could access the crease.Ponting, clearly in a fit of anger, threw his gloves at a LCD tv set in the dressing area and broken it. The actions from a skipper of a cricket side is particularly disheartening.

Aussie had successful that game versus Zimbabwe by 91 runs.It’s knowledgeable that the skipper of Aussie squad has since then apologised. A spokesperson of the side had come forward with a remarks that Ricky had unintentionally broken the tv set in the dressing area. Now it remains to be seen how the ICC responds to the occurrence.
