The PCB has informed its national team players to send back their family members after having suffered consecutive defeats in the Test series in South Africa.
As per a report in the daily Express` newspaper, the PCB has given instructions that the families of some 7 to 8 players, who’re in South Africa, should go back home by February 26.
The board had reportedly allowed the players and coach Dav Whatmore to take their families to South Africa at the start of the series. The report stated after the 2 consecutive defeats, the board is having 2nd thoughts and believes the presence of family members is distracting the cricketers.
The report added that while Whatmore’s wife had come back home a couple of days ago, the players have been informed their families must go back at the earliest.
