Injured Kiwi batsman Jesse Ryder may make July return

Jesse RyderInjured Kiwi batsman Jesse Ryder has been linked with a move to play in the first Caribbean Premier League in July despite needing to recover from injuries struggled in a nightclub attack.

His manager, Aaron Klee, turned down to ensure the media reports, saying the batsman is “still very weak and can’t do a lot” and that it would likely be 2 to 3 months before Ryder is “ticking over properly.”

Jesse Ryder was placed in an induced coma after hurting head and lung injuries in an assault outside a Christchurch nightclub in late March. The New Zealand Herald stated on Tuesday that Ryder had been contacted by CPL authorities before the attack and might be fit for a mid-year return.
