The most awaited film of Bollywood ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has been reportedly banned in Pakistan because of using Pakistan Intelligence agency in the film.
This comes after early reports that of the movie being banned in Pakistan on the grounds of its theme being anti-Pakistan, but just recently an NOC was granted for Ek Tha Tiger to be screened for the censor board members there.
However, now it appears that the Salman Khan’s film failed to convince Pakistani board members and will not hit cinemas on Eid. Though there’s no official announcement from the board, but the Pakistani distributor Atif Rashid said, “I was just told the movie can’t be launched in Pakistan and there will be further talk about it.”
Film director Kabir Khan said, “It is sad a movie that promotes peace and friendship between nations has fallen victim to politics.” Ek Tha Tiger was to launch with 35 prints in Pakistan on Eid.
