Court order Apple to apologise again over copycat claims with Samsung

British judges say Apple needs to apologize again for wrongly saying that Samsung copied its iPad, the most recent shameful episode in the tech rivals’ world-spanning patent war.

Apple Inc. was ordered to print an apology on its website after British judges consistently refused its report that Samsung ripped off its models when developing its own tablet computer, the Galaxy Tab. Apple has posted an apology, but judges at London’s High Court ruled Thursday that it didn’t go far enough and instructed a fresh one posted to its website within Two days.

Samsung and Apple are locked in a series of global lawsuits over claimed copyright violations, including a California case which saddled Samsung with a $1 billion fine for copying Apple’s model.
