Chaudhry Nisar responsible for army takeover in 1999 says Javed Hashmi

PTI Leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that Chaudhry Nisar was accountable for the army takeover in the country in 1999 while he himself was the main opponent of atomic tests.

Addressing a media conference in Multan he claimed the PML-N is a party dominated by those who had left the party in murky waters. He says that Nisar was one of 8 people along with Khawaja Asif, Ishaq Dar and Pervez Rashid who sought pardon from the military regime.

Challenging Nisar, he said he should sit with him, if he’s any courage and answer his questions. As per the PTI president, Nisar was also responsible for the conflict between Pervez Musharraf and Nawaz Sharif. Criticizing the PML-N leader, Javed Hashmi told journalists he opposed nuclear tests in 1998 and was propagating against PTI to earn space for himself.
