Bollywood film ‘Agent Vinod’ Banned in Pakistan

Kareena Kapoor’s much awaited film Agent Vinod has apparently been rejected a clearance by the Pakistani censor board and the movie may not launch in Pakistan this Friday.

Agent Vinod, which actors Saif Ali Khan as the agent of the Indian intelligence services RAW,  has various references to Pakistani military and intelligence agency ISI. Those references have reportedly not gone down well with the country’s censor board.

As per an online update by Atrium Cinemas, a well known multiplex chain in Pakistan, Agent Vinod won’t launch this Friday because it has reportedly been banned by the censor board of Pakistan. However, we must mention here that there’s yet no official evidence of it yet from either Saif Ali Khan or from any member of the Pakistani censor board.

Gulshan Grover playing a role called Tehmur Pasha who’s a worldwide criminal hiding under state security in Karachi. A part of the movie also shows Saif in the uniform of Pakistan army.
