Sonny Dickson has published what he says are iPhone 6 models to his Twitter. Speculations abound in the technology community prior to the release of any new Apple product, but these images warrant particular interest because Dickson is the same blogger who leaked genuine pictures of the iPhone 5 before its launch last year.
Dickson tweeted “Hello! #iPhone6” in 2 different tweets on Friday, each of which was accompanied by pictures of devices. Subsequent tweets from Dickson show that the images show a 5.5-inch model and a 4.7-inch model side-by-side. The larger phone could be a reply to the reputation of Samsung’s latest line of Galaxy smartphones, which range in size from 5.3 to 6.6-inches, all considerably larger than the 4.7-inch iPhone 5.
Apple faces a stiff rivalry in the Smartphone market from Smartphones working with the Android operating system. In April, Android held 52.5% of the market, compared to Apple’s 41.4%, as per the most recent study from analytics specialist comScore. Apple has not yet replied to FoxNews.com’s asks for comment on the legitimacy of the images. The iPhone 6 is predicted to be launched sometime later this year.
