Are you aware that Clearwire was thinking about making a smart phone, or cell phone? Similar Clearwire that presents 4G (WiMAX) services to customers and providers such as Sprint.Yeah, possibly not. You understand why? Among some other issues, Sony Ericsson was picking a bone with the firm, indicating that their logo design was too very similar and would undoubtedly end up complicated customers if both firms were developing mobiles with their own trademarks.
Clearwire has not had the simplest road of late. It isn’t low-cost nor simple to build out a countrywide 4G network, and instead of forging ahead with a mobile phone and also dealing with possible law suit from SE, the firm has declared that they’re ditching intends to make mobile phones. And that, so it looks, makes Sony Ericsson very satisfied. Surprise! A current launch from Sony Ericsson has made very clear that there’s been solution of the logo lawsuit initiated against Clearwire, simply because — obviously — Clearwire has harmed their programs to beat SE off with a mobile phone of their own.
So, the authorized crisis finishes, and we can depend on Clearwire not having a mobile phone. Cannot say we are super happy with the reports — we would have liked to have viewed what Clearwire was able to — but we completely realize the wish to put all of this behind ’em.
