J.D. Power has unveiled its 2013 U.S. Tablet Satisfaction Study-Volume 2 with Samsung edging out Apple’s iPad for the top place. Apple had in the past ranked number 1 in the company’s customer stratification surveys for tablets, but this time Samsung has jumped up from # 3 in April to take the 1st place from the iPad.
However in the present years, Android manufacturers have come up with tablets that are stronger and also less costly, and a present report by J.D. Power has come to the conclusion that at least as far as the most recent consumer satisfaction survey is concerned, Samsung has been able to beat out Apple when it comes in tablets, although it should be noted that the report is basing this totally on pricing.
The report has put Samsung ahead of Apple, albeit slightly with the South Korean technology giant rating 835 out of 1,000, vs Apple who obtained 833, so as you can tell this was a really close contest. J.D. Power recognizes that as far as performance, physical layout, ease of use, and tablet features are concerned.
