A couple of leaked photos of the forthcoming low-cost iPhone, called tentatively the iPhone 5C. A few new pictures from case manufacturer Itskins, photos of the phone covered in the case but now the photos of the dummy used by the case manufacturer to base their designs on.
The standard was said to ‘look good’ and that it doesn’t look as cheap in person as any of the earlier photos seem to suggest. The logo and text on the back will be black, as seen in this picture. The design, at least from these photos, reminds us clearly of the iPhone 3G and the 3GS, especially the black front with the white back. Although it’s likely that the final product will have a white front panel, similar to the present iPhone and iPod touch.
The iPhone release event is being rumored to happen on September 10. Along with the iPhone 5C, there will also be an update to the present iPhone 5, with a champagne gold-colored design now being clearly rumored. We’ll keep you up-to-date as we hear more updates on the new iPhones.
