Online hackers broke into the Twitter account of Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra, with the hackers submitting false tweets on the profile.The false tweets accused the prime minister of cronyism and different failures, as per a report on The Hacker News Monday.
“If she cannot even secure her personal Twitter profile, how can she secure the state?” The Hacker News quoted the hackers as indicating. But a check of the Twitter account as of Monday noon confirmed the account was suspended. “The account you are attempting to see has been suspended,” see an error msgs that viewed readers to the Twitter profile.As per the Hacker News report, Thai officials aren’t discounting the hack as possibly section of a conspiracy to humiliate the govt.
It says Information and Communication Technology Minister Anudith Nakornthap says an investigation identified the hacker utilized a pre-paid phone card and an iPhone to access the profiles.”Yingluck won a clear success in July, but is charged by her critics of being a puppet of her brother, ex- Premier Thaksin Shinawatra who was thrown out of office in a ’06 army coup,” the Hacker News report says.
