China’s IT168 are revealing that Apple will provide the iPhone 6 with a higher-resolution camera and enhanced optics, including an aperture of f/1.8. The present iPhone range sports an 8-megapixel imaging sensor and a narrower f/2.2 aperture.
Apple is said to be intending a camera upgrade, along with the complete change of the iPhone 6 this year, and as per this Chinese report, the firm has decided to enhance the resolution to 10 mega pixels. This contradicts earlier reports which claimed that Apple favored to enhance on the optics rather than improve the image sensor.
IT168 also says that iPhone 6 will sport a larger f/1.8 aperture, more improving the phone’s image storage abilities. Lastly, the Cupertino giant is said to be changing the hybrid IR filter it presently utilizes with a resin lens filter from Japan’s JSR, which makes the famous ARTON Resins.
