With leading Android phones continuing to increase in dimension, most recent reports have claimed the iPhone 6 will release with a big, 4.7-inch screen. With a raft of iPhone 6 speculation having earlier suggested Apple is planning to launch a larger display to its forthcoming iPhone 5S follow-on, reports out of Taiwan are now indicating the Cupertino-based firm has decided for a 4.7-inch panel.
At current the iPhone 5S includes a 4-inch Retina display, down in size significantly on its leading rivals such as the 4.7-inch HTC One, 5-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 and 5.2-inch LG G2. Although it’s been recommended that the iPhone 6 will make the jump to a 4.7-inch display, this increase would still make Apple’s leading phone smaller than the constantly increasing Android contingent.
As per most recent speculation, the upcoming HTC One 2 will host a new 5-inch panel while the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z2 have both been likely to offer up 5.25-inch screens.
