Manufacturing of iPhone 6 and iPhone phablet units is expected to go into full swing this month and as a result, expect leaks to really kick into high gear. Earlier this week, the curved glass display covers from Apple’s upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 6 leak for the first occasion after reports that the glass would be a little bit curved at the edges first surfaced last year.
Also learned that the most awful layout element from the different iPhone 6 mockups seen so far is actually the result of a misconception, and the real units will look much better. Now, in keeping with past developments, supposed internal parts from the unreleased iPhone 6 have started to leak. Apple fan blog found 3 pictures on Tuesday that supposedly show 2 internal parts from one of Apple’s forthcoming next-generation iPhones.
The first is a cable that holds the volume and mute buttons and connects them to the iPhone’s main board, and the 2nd is a separate flex cable that seems to hold the iPhone 6’s power button. Of note, all of the previously mentioned buttons on the iPhone 5s were found on one flex cable. The chance that they have been shifted to separate cables may more support earlier reports indicating that the location of the power button has been shifted from the top of the handset to the side on the iPhone 6.
The 3 leaked pictures follow below along with a 4th picture that shows the flex cable that holds all of these buttons in the iPhone 5s.
