Taiwanese tabloid United Daily News claims that Apple is dealing with Quanta Computer for the manufacturing of a tablet with a 12 inch display, although there are ideas from elsewhere that the screen will be closer to 13 inches in size. Quanta has already developed iMacs and MacBook Pros for Apple.
Apple provides the iPad in 9.7 inch and 7.9 inch models, but is known to have experimented with larger tablet sizes in the run-up to release. There’s little rumors into whether a bigger model would offer the same features as its smaller competitors, or use its bigger display to bring more functions to the table.
