The Apple iPhone 6 is thought to be lighter in weight and faster than earlier editions, and that was reinforced after an Australian tech blogger leaked more info about the smartphone. Sonny Dickson, who is mentioned to have inside information, said on Twitter that thenext-generation smartphone could be 0.22 inches thick.
The present iPhone 5s is 0.30 inches thick. He said the iPhone 6 will also have an Ultra Retina display, which could have a density of 389 pixels per inch. The present iPhone 5s has 326 ppi. And a few days back, Andy Hargreaves, an analyst at Pacific Crest, said the new smartphone will cost $635, about $100 over usual, as per a report from Business Insider. Apple, he said, will launch a 4.7-inch model of the iPhone 6 sometime in the fall-a launch date that is consistent with earlier speculation and notes released by other experts.
Apple launched earlier iPhone devices during the autumn. A few reports have said the iPhone 6 would come out as early as May or June, but that appears more and more unlikely. Hargreaves feels that buyers would be ready to pay more for the iPhone 6, noting that Samsung charges $299 for the Note, which is a bigger, 6-inch phone.
