Latest reports from China said that only the 5.5 inch iPhone 6 phablet will sport a 128GB internal storage space. Apple Insider cited Chinese sources and claimed that only the supposed larger model of iPhone 6 will sport 128GB storage space, while the 4.7 inch model will be stuck with 64GB storage space. A Chinese blog Feng also claimed the new iPhone 6 may axe the 16GB option and will offer the 32GB model as the smallest storage model.
Reports continued that Apple’s new leading phone will be launched on September 19 and the 32GB and 64GB will cost close to $850 and $1,000, respectively. Septembers 19 is a feasible launch day for iPhone 6 according to the releases of earlier iPhones. Recent speculations claimed that the 2 iPhone versions will arrive together. There are reports that say that the larger design will arrive a month later after the 4.7 inch model.
The former will most likely take place since the large manufacturing of iPhone 6 in China is planned for this month, as per Bloomberg. Moreover, October is focused to Apple’s iPad and Mac line. Foxconn, Apple partner in production in China, is reportedly choosing an additional of 100,000 employees to help with manufacturing of new Apple products – iPhones and iPads.
