Punjab govt funding anti-PPP protests in Sindh: Sharjeel Memon

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon Friday said that PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif was funding elements involved in spreading anarchy and instigating hatred in Sindh province.

“Nawaz Sharif has again did not enter Sindh before the election, while no well-known person has joined his party so far,” stated the Minister addresses a media conference at his office. Information Minister said the PPP was going to hold a massive public move on Oct 15 in Hyderabad wherein it will show its street power.

“Those claiming PPP has lost people support must wait for the rally,” he added. He said ex- PM Gilani would be the keynote speaker on the move while Sindh CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other PPP politicians would also communicate. The minister said he was wanting to hold a debate with any nationalist on the Sindh Peoples Local Government Ordinance. He suggested that his party might accept their tips in the new law, provided they were good and officially right. However, so far we’ve not found any ambiguity in SPLGO 2012, he added.

Sharjeel Memon says PPP has wanted to appease its estranged coalition allies and expected they’ll be agreed as well. He said whenever elections come near anti-PPP forces get combined to hatch conspiracies against it. He added PPP politicians aren’t scared of attacks in which their houses were targeted.
