PTI chief Imran Khan asked his party’s members of the Parliament to present their resignations as part of his anti-government movement. MNA Hamid ul Haq said that all elected members of the PTI would present their resignations to the command by Sunday. A PTI spokesperson, however, turned down Hamid ul Haq’s claim.
“No decision has been taken yet to resign from the assembly,” the spokesperson said, adding that this suggestion would be discussed in the party’s gathering on August 4. Imran Khan has called for a full examined of last year’s general elections, claiming that polls were extremely rigged.
He declared that PTI would stage a million march from Lahore to Islamabad on August 14 to press the federal government to accept its demand for vote audit.
