Privilege motion against PTI chief passed in Senate

The Senate has approved a privileged motion against PTI chief Imran Khan over his comments against the parliamentarians. The PTI chairman had accused that most of the parliamentarians sell themselves for gaining interest. At least 26 Senators from all political groups have finalized the motion against Imran Khan.

Deputy Chairman Senate, Sabir Baloch chaired the session on yesterday. Response over the statement of Imran Khan, PPP Senator Saeed Ghani said the PTI chief has uncovered himself and if he had any evidence he should have presented it to the election commission. Senator Zahid Khan of ANP said that Imran Khan has insulted Senators.

Senator Abdul Hayee said only those persons discuss dollar who themselves were a salable commodity. Senator Kulsoom Parveen said Imran Khan should examine his party’s performance in Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa instead of criticizing other people.
