President Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The two leaders spoke for 15 minutes and exchanged views on the present condition in the country, the channel reported. The authorities vowed to make stronger democracy in the country and agreed to carry on the process of reconciliation among the parties.
The president took the PML-N leader into confidence over his speech in Naudero. The leaders aimed to resolve all political and other problems with mutual understanding and cooperation, the channel reported.
