PML-N tops popularity chart for upcoming general elections

PML-NPML-N led by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has become the most famous political party of the country for Elections 2013 in terms of voting intentions shown in consolidated findings of surveys performed by IRI and Gallup Pakistan.

As per the consolidated findings of the survey performed according to voting intentions by IRI and Gallup Pakistan respectively during the past Three months, PML-N is the front runner for the next general elections with an average national score of 37%. PPP and PTI share 2nd position in the survey with a national level score of 16 %.

In its most recent report for February 2013, Gallup Pakistan has divided the voters in 11 areas and shown PML-N as a leading party in 5 of them while PTI is front runner in 1 electoral area.
PPP has been shown as a top political party for elections 2013 in 2 areas; MQM in 1; ANP in 1; and JUI-F/Muttahida Majlis-e-Ammal (MMA) in 1 territory.
