Nawaz Sharif, Khursheed Shah

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, PPP leader Zamurad Khan, Prime Minister’s Secretary Javed Aslam and Special Secretary to the PM Fawad Hasan Fawad were also present at the time. Nawaz Sharif, Qaim Ali Shah and Syed Khursheed Shah had frank dialogue regarding current political scenario in Pakistan and problems related to the IDPs from North Waziristan Agency. It was the first time that 2 leaders from Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah had a meeting with PM Nawaz Sharif jointly.

The understanding of the 3 leaders for contesting the anti-democratic factors is a first political development and big rejoinder to the threats mongers by the 2 important political forces of the country. The sources privy to the dialogue of the meeting told later in the night that the PPP leaders assured the PM that people who were trying to destabilize the system through their unnecessary agitation and dangerous activities would not be allowed to succeed.
