PML-N is wanting to destabilise federal govt: Altaf Hussain

MQM leader Altaf Hussain says his party was prepared to fight all seats in the Punjab Assembly if and when opposition legislators present their resignations and probably trigger a dissolution of the House. If happens, he says, the MQM would ask the president to hold by-elections on these posts and MQM would fight all those seats.

Addressing a public meeting in Lahore through phone, Altaf claimed that PML-N was wanting to dissolve the Punjab Assembly so that the present  elected set-up could be “destabilised”. He says MQM would fight the by elections from all provincial seats in Punjab, if need be. Altaf Hussain lashed out at Ex- provincial minister Zulfiqar Mirza and the PML-N command. However, he didn’t voice any opposition against the intelligence organizations.

Altaf Hussain said that Mirza, in the current past, had uncomfortable the PML-N to near all its party offices in Sindh. Altaf Hussain also lashed out at press personnel for their quiet position over Ayesha Ahad’s case – who he claimed was hitched to Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif’s son Hamza and later evicted. He also says that MQM has been incorrectly described as an anti Punjabi, Pakhtun, Baloch, Sindhi and Kashmiri party.
