A team of PML-N parliamentarians failed to bring round estranged Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who considers his issues with party chief based on points. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was in political hibernation for past couple of weeks, ostensibly due to his heart ailment but actually he had made a few severe issues with the party high command on host of problems and there was a common impression of his being overlooked and sidelined.
Sources in the party and talk along with a few of the parliamentarians close to the interior minister disclosed that a group within the party is continually whispering in the ears of PM Nawaz Sharif against Chaudhry Nisar that how he had invited problems for the party on several an occasions in the past. A few of the people belonging to this group, generally known in the party as ‘Lahori-Kashmiri Group’, who are also cabinet members, are not even at talking terms with Chaudhry Nisar, who too has a very powerful lobby within the party.
Sources said that close to 45 parliamentarians including a couple of ministers and National Assembly Deputy Speaker met him at Punjab House but even after a pair hours’ persuasion they failed to convince him to shun his issues with the party command.
