PML-N calls on Aamir Sohail in a bid to lure PTI fans

Well placed sources in the PML-N told that ex- Test skipper Aamir Sohail was asked to join the party after a survey of youth exposed that the attraction of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf hinges on Imran Khan’s job as a cricketer. Sohail recently declared that he was joining the PML-N in the ‘national interest’.

Sources says that a study taken under Khawaja Saad Rafique shown that 80 % of the youngsters that joined PTI did so simply because they were followers of Imran Khan, the cricketer. Aamir Sohail says that he had joined PML-N to assist the state out of the recent problems. Comparing Sharif and Imran Khan, he says, the former was experienced and had a very clear manifesto on how to deliver the country out of the present quagmire while the latter was inexperienced and had no plan prescription.

PTI leader Omer Sarfarz Cheema says that Sohail’s entry in PML-N wouldn’t damage the PTI’s youth vote bank. He says no force would defeat the PTI in the upcoming election. PML-N Senator Mushahidullah Khan says that Imran Khan would soon be shown as somebody furthering the plan of the “establishment”.

On the other hand, PTI has presented strenuous attempts to improve the party in country’s north-western state of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a bid to clinch highest number of seats in the upcoming elections.
