New governor appointment challenged in court

New governor of Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa appointment has been challenged in LHC on Wednesday 12 January.

The case was registered by Mohammad Jameel Advocate in Lahore High Court . In the Petition,Advocate Mohammad Jameel mentioned that Sardar Latif Khosa have charged with corruption.

Mohammad Jameel Advocate also described that the nominated governor hasn’t eligible for the posting and the personality of Sardar Latif Khosa does not comply with Article 62 and 63 of the constitution of the country.

LHR will begin listening to of petition versus the appointment of Khosa on Wednesday 19 January.

President Asif Zardari on Thursday signed the conclusion for appointment of Sardar Latif Khosa as the new Governor of Punjab after Salman Taseer murder.
