PM Nawaz Sharif on today departed for Beijing on his first ever foreign visit to China Wednesday morning to hold wide ranging discussions with Chinese command aimed at further improving current deep rooted ties. He’s accompanied by an 11 member high level delegation including Chief Minister Balochistan and federal ministers in his 5 day tour.
Several people in the Prime Minister entourage including Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have left Lahore for Beining to join him. The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his meetings with Chinese President and Premier will talk about regional situation, Afghan peace process and safety issues.
The focus of the visit will be growing monetary and trade ties besides improving partnerships and finalizing a trade corridor between the 2 countries. MOUs will also be signed to promote the alliance in several areas especially the energy sector.
