PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif on Monday lashed out at PML-Q for helping Pervez Musharraf in the past, describing their national politics as ‘hypocrisy’.
“No one has forgotten that yesterday they’re ready to choose Muhsarraf even 20 occasions in his uniform and now sitting in coalition with those issuing red warrants against the dictator,” the PML-N chief, without identifying, criticized Chaudhry brothers which legitimized the ex- dictator’s rule after winning 2002 elections.
“The national politics of hypocrisy should ended now. They (PML-Q) had called PPP as enemies, but now sitting under the ruling party’s protection for their personal interests. On Sunday, PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif demanded an apology from Chaudhry brothers to the nation for helping a dictator, indicating the PML-N is happy to shake hands with the Chaudhrys if they promise never to do it yet again.
Earlier, the meeting chosen Shahbaz Sharif, as provincial president PML-N unopposed after no one submitted documents for this position against the serving CM.
