The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued a notice to President Asif Ali Zardari during the hearing in the dual office case. The court’s full bench issued the notice for May 27 and ordered that Asif Zardari appear before the LHC through his principle secretary, sources said.

Hearing in the dual office case was then adjourned till May 27. Speaking to reporters outside the LHC building, Advocate A K Dogar said the court had taken a very helpful step with regard to the dual office case.
