If America and Pakistan ever went to battle, Afghan President Hamid Karzai says Afghanistan would back Pakistan. Karzai made the opinion to the private GEO News in Pakistan in an interview shown on Saturday.
It’s a unexpected opinion given President Karzai’s current criticism of Pakistan and his show of coalition with America during U.S Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s trip to Kabul a week ago.
Both Clinton and President Karzai loudly charged the Pakistan govt of giving shelter to taliban groups starting assaults in Afghanistan. A army clash between the U.S. and Pakistan isn’t likely, but Karzai tells that if Pakistan were assaulted and told for Afghanistan’s support, the Afghans would assistance the Pakistanis.
