Imran Khan stands by his stance on Iftikhar Chaudhry

Chairman PTI Imran Khan clarified his stance today over his statement on former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and his input in 2013 electoral rigging along with the returning officers (ROs) and others. He stands by every word he has said in regard to election rigging and ex-CJ’s input, says Spokesperson PTI Shireen Mazari.

Spokesperson PTI mentioned that Imran Khan strived along with ex CJ for the restoration of judiciary against a dictator adding that Imran Khan had to go to jail for leading that movement. However, he still staunchly stands by his words regarding the input and part of ex-CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry in general elections 2013. She pointed out that anything that doesn’t coincide with his statement should be considered as an inadequate representation of his opinions.

Earlier, news had been making rounds about Imran khan’s reply to ex-CJ in which he had praised him for his work and fervor. Party sources have mentioned that the response had been written without Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s permission and demand it to be coming back.
