Imran Khan has no political future in Pakistan: PM Gilani

Pakistan convicted PM Yousuf Raza Gilani, commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, has claimed he has no future in the country. PM Gilani, who’s on a five-day trip to United kingdom said, “He (Imran Khan) is a excellent cricketer. But he’s no future in Pakistan.

On the other hand a survey conducted by the US-based International Republican Institute reveals that right now the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, led by Imran Khan, is the countrywide front-runner, with 31 Percent of the vote. The 2 popular parties, the opposition PML-N holds 2nd spot with 27 Percent, while the ruling PPP has a dismal share of only 16 Percent.

Imran Khan was also on top in Balochistan, with 35 Percent of the vote. The PML-N grabbed 2nd place with 9 %. The IRI survey hasn’t been officially unveiled. It was organised between February and March this year.
