Demanding PM Nawaz Sharif to step down, PTI chief Imran Khan has called for a new election under a reformed election commission. Addressing a media conference here along with Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Javed Hashmi, Dr. Shireen Mazari and others, PTI chairman said that the time of talks with government is over and ‘Azadi March’ will be held at every cost.
Imran Khan also promised to disclose proof of rigging in last year’s general elections before the public on August 11.“On August 11, I will unveil names of people involved in rigging during the May 11 elections,” he said. PTI chairman said polls in Pakistan have been questionable since its establishment in 1947 but May 11, 2013 elections were the worst-rigged its history. He said over 1.5 billion votes were turned down in that election and PTI’s voters were stopped from casting votes.
Imran Khan alleged that in 90 constituencies the votes were cast after the issuance of voter lists and election results were stopped right after Nawaz Sharif’s address.
