Imran Khan decides to retain NA-56 Rawalpindi seat

Imran KhanSpokesman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has stated that he would retain NA-56, the Rawalpindi seat he won during the May 11 general elections. He further stated that Imran Khan would give up the other 2 National Assembly seats, NA-1 Peshawar and NA-71 Mianwali.

It is pertinent to note here that the PTI Leader had contested for 4 NA seats and emerged successful in 3, NA-56 Rawalpindi, NA-1 Peshawar and NA-71 Mianwali. He had lost NA-122 Lahore to Ayaz Sadiq of PML-N.

Meanwhile, PTI President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi is likely to leave the seat of NA-48, Islamabad. In that case he’d retain NA-149 Multan, which is his home constituency.
