Federal Railway Minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the federal government was ready for talks with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Leader Imran Khan.
Addressing the beginning of the celebrations of ‘Jashn-e-Azadi’ at the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the federal government would continue persuading Imran Khan until August 13 night for holding talks instead of starting any March towards Islamabad.
Saad Rafique expressed his surprise over Imran Khan being an ardent suggest of talks with the Taliban unwilling to enter into dialogues with the government. He said that the progress and security of the country demand stopping ‘Long March’ and ‘Revolution’.
The railway minister also warned that anyone taking law into his own hand on August 14 would himself bear the outcomes.
