Early election no solution to problems: Shujaat Hussain

PML-Q Leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said early elections aren’t the solution to the country’s challenges. Speaking to a private news channel, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain mentioned only public can resolve the present crisis through vote power, however, the general election would be held as per timetable in March, 2013. He said the 5th budget would also be presented by the coalition govt.

Speaking about the opposition’s position, he mentioned the PML-N should adopt reasonable strategy with regard to the national concerns, including creation of new provinces. Shujaat Hussain also said the federal govt to also table a resolution regarding creation of ‘Hazara Province’.

The PML-Q chief rejected to take the prime minister as a convicted person and mentioned he can’t be declared a convicted person till a judgment is made on his appeal. He says the prime minister has the right to appeal and will answer about cooperation with the pm after the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Replying to a query, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said it would make no difference whether Nawaz Sharif accepts Gilani as the PM or not. He said Sharif brothers have committed contempt of court because they’re themselves part of defaming the judiciary by storming the Top Court in past.
