Ongoing power load shedding in the country has been temporarily ended, as the demand and supply of power equalized on Tuesday.
As per to NTDC official, rain in most areas has turned the weather pleasant, thus, the gap between power demand and supply reached to zero. According to the report presented by Minister of Water and Power to the Pm today, power production and usage stand at 11,000 megawatts.
It’s said that 4,320 MW electricity is being produced by hydel sector, 5,200 MW from IPPs while 1,480 MW from furnace oil. The fresh schedule of load shedding would be issued in accordance with the need and supply difference.
