The PML-N command has warned the federal govt that if effective actions aren’t taken within a day or two to ease the ongoing energy crisis in Punjab, the party’s activists and followers will march on the Presidency.
“The energy crisis has deepened in the province and if the federal govt doesn’t fix the issue instantly we’ll march on the Presidency,” Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Sunday.
Speaking with journalists at the house of Liaquat Baloch of Jamaat-i-Islami, Chaudhry Nisar mentioned his party would demand a clarification over the issue on the floor of the house. Chaudhry Nisar advised Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif to be careful when making opinions about President Zardari.
Shahbaz Sharif’s recent comments about the president were criticised by numerous politicians and analysts.
