Cabinet calls for unconditional ceasefire from Taliban

The federal government has urged the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan to renounce terror activates without pre-conditions declare a unilateral ceasefire. It was demanded by the Federal Cabinet which met with PM Nawaz Sharif in the chair.

The cabinet authorized National Policy of Internal Security in the meeting organized in Islamabad. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will mention the policy in the National Assembly tomorrow. They said the PM mentioned his resolve to create government’s writ at every cost. He was briefed over country’s current law-and-order scenario and the stalled discussion procedure with banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The PM was briefed over Pak-Afghan border, security scenario and the ongoing operation in Karachi. Earlier today, Pakistan Army unveiled new air attacks focusing on militant hideouts in North and South Waziristan.
