The Awami National Party announced Sunday that it would file an adjournment motion in the Senate against Imran Khan, chairmen of PTI for chairing a gathering of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials.
In a statement, ANP spokesman Zahid Khan said that the adjournment motion would be filed against Imran Khan for calling a meeting of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) provincial secretaries on Friday.
“It was unconstitutional for a party chief to summon such a meeting. PTI Chairman was running the province like a cricket team,” he said.
“If Imran Khan wanted to manage the affairs of the province, he should have contested the elections from a provincial assembly seat and opted to become the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Zahid Khan, adding that PTI leader was using the K-P Assembly like a rubber stamp.
